Visitor Visa Options
Visitor Visa (Subclass 600)
- Suitable for tourism, visiting family and friends, or short-term business activities
- Available for single or multiple entry
- Stay period of up to 3, 6, or 12 months, depending on circumstances
Sponsored Family Stream
- For applicants sponsored by an eligible Australian citizen or permanent resident family member
- The sponsor may be required to provide a security bond
- Allows stays of up to 12 months
Electronic Travel Authority (ETA) (Subclass 601)
- For eligible passport holders traveling for tourism or business
- Provides multiple entries with stays of up to 3 months per visit
- Must be outside Australia at the time of application and when the visa is granted
eVisitor (Subclass 651)
- For eligible passport holders visiting for tourism or business purposes
- Allows multiple entries within 12 months
- Each stay is limited to 3 months
- Application must be lodged outside Australia
